BSPM Praveshika Purna - Level 3
About The Course
Praveshika Purna is the third-level examination offered by the Bhartiya Sangeet Prasaraj Mandal (BSPM), designed for singers with approximately two years of training in Hindustani Classical music.
In this course, students expand their knowledge of Hindustani Classical compositions while also exploring Bollywood songs. They will study 5-7 ragas in detail and prepare for both practical and theory components of the exam.

- Must have done Hindustani Classical Vocals Method Book 3 and Praveshika Pratham

- Introduction to Vilambit and Bada Khayal Forms
- Singing and Culture of Dhrupad - Dhamaar
- Different forms of singing like Tarana
- Concept of Swar Vistaar
- Chota Khayal of Raag Bhairav, Kedar, Bilawal, Tilak Kamod, Bhairavi, Vrundawani Sarang etc
- Music Theory and Notation Writing
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Do Swar Vistaar in Bada Khayal along with Aalap and Taans
- Demonstrate Ekpat, Dupat, Chaupat of different Taals
- Sing Dhrupad Dhamar
- Proficiency in singing Chota Khayal of at least 5-6 Ragas
- Write bandishes in Bhatkhande/Paluskar format
- Distinguish between the 9-10 ragas mentioned
