BSPM Level 2 Praveshika Pratham

About The Course

After completing the Level 1 Prarambhik course and Method Book 2, your child is ready to embark on the next step of their musical journey by preparing for the BSPM Level 2 certification exam – Praveshika Pratham.

In this course, students delve into Geetams, simple yet melodious songs; Swarajathis, rich in emotion and devotion; and timeless compositions by musical legends like Purandara Dasa and Tyagaraja. They also explore nottuswaras, devotional songs, and folk melodies, taking a deeper dive into the vibrant world of Carnatic music.

Through Geetams, students are introduced to new ragas beyond Mayamalavagoula, set to a variety of talas. Swarajathis further enrich their learning with multiple sahityas that express emotions like devotion and love, helping them gain a solid understanding of the prescribed ragas and talas at this level.

This course extends beyond classical music, offering opportunities to learn devotional pieces, folk tunes, and nottuswaras. These additions help students develop vocal modulation skills and enhance their ability to convey emotions effectively.

With guidance from our certified instructors, your child will be thoroughly prepared to excel in the certification exam, gaining confidence and mastery in their Carnatic music journey.
