About The Course
Does your child have what it takes to be a Ukulele rock star? If they’ve successfully cleared the Grade 6 exam and have been playing for 4-5 years, it’s time for the next big step—the RSL Ukulele Grade 7 course.
This course is designed for students who have mastered the skills up to Grade 6, including secure technique, expressive playing, rhythmic complexity, fluency, and a deep understanding of music.
Students will learn to improvise with confidence and individuality while showcasing strong musical form and structure. Our certified instructors provide expert guidance, technical exercises, supporting tests, and in-depth preparation for the songs featured in the grade, ensuring success in the RSL Ukulele Grade 7 exam.
With the Gandharva Ukulele Method, your child will gain the skills and confidence to shine as a true musician.
Prerequisites
- Must have completed Gandharva Method Book 2 and RSL Grade 4
- Experience of 3 years of playing

Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Perform a range of ukulele pieces with confidence, expression, and accuracy.
- Develop technical proficiency on the ukulele through a variety of exercises and drills.
- Prepare for supporting tests such as scales, sight-reading, and aural training and demonstrate a well-rounded understanding of music theory.
- Play as part of an ensemble using backing tracks, demonstrating the ability to keep in time and listen to other musicians.
- Create solo arrangements of songs, demonstrating the ability to interpret and adapt existing music to the ukulele.
