About The Course
Embark on an exciting journey with our Level 1 Prarambhik course, specially designed to prepare beginner Carnatic Vocal students for the BSPM Prarambhik certification exam.
This course introduces the fundamentals of Carnatic Music through a clear and structured approach, supported by comprehensive study materials. With guidance from our skilled instructors, your child will learn to find their pitch, enhance breath and voice control, refine their vocal technique, and build confidence. They’ll also have the opportunity to showcase their talent through live performances!
Additionally, we ensure students are well-prepared for success on their musical journey and the BSPM Prarambhik certification exam. From the application process to receiving results, our certified instructors provide full support, allowing students to focus on learning and growth.
Prerequisites
- A good interest in any genre of music or 3-4 months of Carnatic singing experience.

Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Have a good understanding of the basic terms, sruthi, kala, tala etc.
- Demonstrate all Sarali varisais, Dattu varisais and Tharasthayi varisais in 3 speeds with talam.
- Demonstrate the Janta Varisais comfortably in 2 speeds with talam.
- Understand sapta talas and sing Alankaras in the 1st speed with talam.
