This course introduces students to popular ragas and taals commonly featured in Bollywood music. It also includes an in-depth study of two compositions by renowned Indian film composers. Upon completing the course, students will be equipped to sing a variety of songs in different ragas and rhythm patterns with confidence.

- Must have done Light & Hindi Film Vocals method book 1
Topics Covered
- Introduction of Raag Khamaj
- Practice of some Alankars in Rupak Taal
- Songs based on Taal Dadra, Keherwa and Rupak
- Introduction of Raag Bhairavi
- Introduction of 1 Ghazal
- Study of 1 composition composed by Madan Mohan
- Study of 1 composition composed by Allarakha Rahman
- Student's favourite singer's song (Male/Female)
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Come to know about the swar/notes used in raga Khamaj and Bhairavi through various alankars and 1 chhota khayal.
- Be able to make command in Rupak taal as it is used in light and Bollywood's music.
- Learn 3 songs of different rhythm patterns (1 song in each taal).
- Be able to sing 1 ghazal.
- Learn 2 film songs of music directors Madan Mohan and A R Rahman (1 song of each).
- Be able to sing 1 song of their favourite singer.
